If you are looking to find out how to heal yourself with real natural experiences I can introduce you to a whole range of ways to feel better physically, mentally and emotionally.
My Life Naturals is based in the West Midlands and helps clients to heal naturally and find peace, joy and happiness by making use of our natural environment.
Getting outdoors helps to promote good health because it has a calming and nurturing effect on us. But do you know why?
Plants and trees shower themselves in an antimicrobial, anti-fungal, antibacterial compound called Phytoncides. This is how they combat disease. So when you absorb these Phytoncides, you can start your own natural healing process to becoming healthier and fitter in body, mind and soul.
Walking has always been known to have health benefits, it helps circulation, it improves aerobics, it strengthens bones and helps to keep joints supple.
But did you know that we at My life Naturals go walking for a whole lot of different reasons?
Why we go walking
Walking is good way to start exercising, may also make us stronger and our bones stronger too.
Going out doors especially in good weather instantly lifts our moods, we human beings started off life in the great outdoors and we were not meant to be cooped up. We feel happier when we are outdoors even in the rain, more so if we are in good company. Meditating in the rain is an experience not to be missed, it allows our other innate senses to be used and explored.
Being outdoors in green spaces allows us to take time out reflect and chill out and forget our day to day worries and stresses.
It has been proven that moving around reduces stress and allows the cortisol hormones to be pushed through the body.
It improves our concentration and allows for creativity and real connection with us, others and our environment. A moment to unplug ourselves from modern technology and start real conversations with like minded people.
What sort of people go walking?
I provide a whole range of experiences. My walks are suitable for all ages and all ranges of health and *ability. They range from family fun days out, suitable for toddlers to grandparents, for all to participate in. From gentle mindfulness walking experiences, to more adventurous experiences, and ones that will stretch you to the limit on the full day hero’s journeys, which could be 4-5 hour long walks.
The more strenuous ones are for people who are fit and healthy who want to experience discovering who they are and their true purpose by pushing through their barriers and limitations.
I have experiences suitable also for people who are recovering from pain and illnesses, to people with mental health issues and anyone who is suffering from daily modern stresses.
How To Heal Yourself With Real Natural Experiences
What benefits you will get from these experiences
Sense of belonging, connection, feeling free, gaining confidence, healing, learning and also gaining the natural ability to connect and care.
The best way to learn is by being guided by an experienced guide who will aid in the healing process. In particular by the suggestions I make and my invitations to show you how nature can heal you naturally from the natural environment, and also the social and emotional healing from being in a supportive group helps too.
Forest therapy is an immersion of you and being guided by your therapist to a level of heightened awareness, so that your mind, body and soul is open to receiving the natural environment where plants and trees shower themselves in an antimicrobial, anti-fungal, antibacterial compound called Phytoncides. This is how they combat disease. So when you absorb these Phytoncides, you can start your own natural healing process to becoming healthier and fitter in body, mind and soul.
One person who had NEVER walked with us before, and was a very keen walker who walked the same woods many times previously, did not want to leave the woods and our company because of just how profound the healing and calming experience was for her.
At the end of event she was so emotional, peaceful and happy she did not want to leave the woods or our company and go back to her normal life. She said it was like entering a magical place where she felt cared for, and where everything made sense. She could not believe there were so many things to see, explore and experience, it was a truly amazing experience for her!
What are the Benefits of Nature
Investing time in nature has huge benefits for our health. These include increased well-being, lower blood pressure, improved mood, more clarity and focus.
Here are just a few of the things that nature can help us with:

The impact of these experiences for the participants who come along are that they feel the effects not just on the day but throughout the rest of their week and beyond.
How long are the walks for?
Shortest walks are an hour, longest ones are 5-6hrs
What sort of things will you see whilst out and about?
Even if you travelled the same path everyday, it would be different each time because nothing stays the same. Nature is always evolving and the seasons always changing. Everything living is always growing, changing and dying and being born with the changing seasons. Even in the same day light changes and plants move and grow. There are so many insects, birds, animals , trees, plants and flowers, with so much colour to see, hear, smell, touch and taste and most importantly to feel real connections to.
Did you know you have more then 5 senses? When you come out with us you will discover and experience that you have more then you thought and knew about.
If you haven’t been out yet I would encourage you to do so. You can go out on your own, but the real benefit is to experience an event in a group, where the guide can show you these wonderful things and teach you how it can be very therapeutic and healing.
You will have shared memories with a social aspect, and also gain more knowledge and wisdom from an experienced guide who can show you things you have never seen before and give you insight on.
For instance, did you know that plants can be defined as intelligent, they have the ability to share information and make decisions and pass on information from generation to generation.
